At this rate, the only senior administrators/team managers left will be those few who didn't dope in a sea of dopers and those who can continue to hide the past. http://www.smh.com.au/sport/cycling/cycling-australia-vicepresid...

It's like politics. When one cares to blame a government or PM, it's also time to let the voters take some of the heat. In cycling, spectators and fans want heroes, want spectacular up-hill attacks, along with sponsorship money and commercialisation of the whole sport, responsibility goes far wider ...

Contador sanctioned for two years...

Nay, no wrapper. Straight injection there in problematic areas. Just funny how the problem in the EU is soft played.

Re: Contador sanctioned for two years...

Does cow liver have plasticiser in it too?
That seemed to be the suggestion, that there's a risk for supra-threshold concentration in the liver. And the only way that can happen is through some unnatural intake.

Re: 2012 Flat Tyre Competition

Weiyun, you need to post your K's estimate for January Show me which clause in the competition rules that said "need". :P In any case, replace the front tyre due to full thickness cuts. The inner was bulging out already but no flat. Rear tyre is looking a tad on the thin side and I am not...

Re: Contador sanctioned for two years...

so getting updates on doping in Australia the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) has issued this warning... really?!? http://asada.govspace.gov.au/2012/03/01/contaminated-meat/ Interesting advisory. Whilst it singles out China and Mexico as high risk for meat contamination, the UK warn...

Do a search. There's been one discussion thread each past year and you'll be able to find out a lot through them.

Re: Get ready to register for Ken Dinnerville race 29th 9am!

I tried entering 8 times, from 9am till 9.25. I rang up and was then told it was full.
Sounds like the registration system opened at 8am, so no surprise it's all gone by 9am.

Now, keep an eye on eBay. Ken Dinnerville entry will get bid sky high!

Well done! It's a race right, so anything goes. Egging others to do the work is part of the game. ;)

The signature attempt was a failed attempt, but the edit avatar also failed, I can't seem to get an image down to 6kb. I think it might be a Mac thing. No matter how small I edit the image to, once I save it it won't so below 19kb. I've had the same trouble before. Never mind I'll just have to be o...

Race Weight

You don't want to go to "minimum weight" nor needed. As an oncology patient, LA would have lost a lot of fat due to his chemo. You won't lose fat as easily during your recuperation though. Note also that given your body's need to "repair" itself, you shouldn't enter into any dram...

LA lost massive weight due to health issues but was able to take advantage of that in his come back. You'll do the same. ;)

I am on the Balmain peninsula and ride directly to CP to meet the Slowies on Sats. Haven't had time to ride Waterfall for a while but be happy to show him the route to Marrickville on Sun mornings.

The watch (snapped off from the straps) was located on the road without its glass cover. I stuffed it into his "preserved" jersey pocket along with the broken straps and HRM chest strap.

Geoff and myself rode via St V and Geoff visited him while I watched our bikes outside. He was still going through the routines and was alert and talkative. He said that he'll have to give Waterfall a miss tomorrow. SUV driver strikes again.

why ouch? I think that a large proportion of the cycling community fits this! Randwick and Easts especially!
I think it's permeating through every club! Look at all those Colnago, Pinarello and BMC riders out there. ;)

Re: Are we a bunch of 'MAMILS'?

OMG, I am not even within the criteria age range!

Actually, I object to the age range for as defined above. Given Cadel et al and cycling peaks in the early 30s, it's ridiculous to include the 30-something in this group. I'd think MAMIL could be far better defined in the 40-60 age range. :P
