Re: Scott 24 Hour Entries Open!

Hi guys, late into the thread again but that thanks for a great weekend which I really enjoyed. Thanks particularly Simon and Megan and to Lindsay and Victoria for organising the 3s. Had a few tests and scans this week and everything is - quite literally - all clear. Cheers again for a fun ride.

Apparently all cars need to be out by 2pm, which is going to make it difficult if you can't get away early. That's somewhat inconvenient, so trollies could be the order of the day. I'm be bri...

By all accounts there's nothing wrong with SLX as far as performance goes, but I can see why you'd prefer XT on a Yeti.

Official results are now up: http://www.maxadventure.com.au/100kmclassic/nsw/results.html Well done all the 100km people. Nice to catch up with a few of you on Saturday night. [quote="toff"]I had a custom bike hand built for me in the 90s. It was stolen around 5 years ago, and I really miss that bike.

I remember that bike. I was incredibly envious at the time. It had the then new-fangled Ergopower shifters, if memory serves.

Super Cheap Auto gets into bikes

Quoting today's AFR: Discount retailer Super Cheap Auto Group hopes to tap into the growth of Australia's $1 billion bicycle and accessories market, launching a retail chain backed by its $6 million acquisition of Melbourne's Goldcross Cycles. They are planning 50 shops all up. Seems similar to what...

Well done Lindsay! A very impressive time and huge overall effort. I'd say you very much earned a ride in that van. Nice to catch up with you up there. The rocky Great North Road bits pretty much did me in, descending, as I do, with all the grace and elegance of a concrete block rolled down fire sta...
