This has grown into a fairly popular ride of about 10 plus every week and sometimes pushing 15 plus. THere probably is demand for two groups, C28s and closer to Middies, and hopefully other riders from the C28s can start to join in rather than always doing the Waterfall ride.

Looks great Geoff!

I'll also be heading down to the Husky Tri this year so will try and beat Julian to it.

Ummm... Are dogs allowed (no comment please Stuart)? ;-)

Tour De France Nights at Marrickville Road Cafe

Ok. Based on the success of the Giro night, Sasha would like to schedule some TDF nights. Which would be the nights, based on what type of stage that day? Also, one option he would like are cycling DVDs also on the big screen prior to each stage event. Anyone got any good DVDs which will get the atm...

And a reminder that anyone riding the next morning needs to comply with NSW law and UCI regulations that you are required to be under 0.05% in blood alcohol level, or not adversely influenced by alcohol at a level below that. Good timing for the above question as I have confirmed with Sasha that it is on! He will rearrange the cafe and bring some more comfortable chairs in. Dinner will be available up to about 9.30 with background music, and then drinks and snack food available for the rest of the night. The Big Screen w...

I'm not sure he wants to time trial at the Giro, rather trial a social night at the MRC watching the Giro.

Watching the Tour at Marrickville Road Cafe

OK. Sasha at MRC is considering opening up for some of the key Tour nights, with wine bar/beer and food and a massive screen. Could some of you suggest which nights would be the best to have social nights and serious Tour watching? He may run a few, so maybe 5 or 6 nights suggestions would be good. ...

Averaged about 31.5kms - perfect pace. This should encourage some C28s to come up a level, and allow the C28s take it down a notch from the 30kms ph and a bit more. Nice smooth group. No stop/starting. No front riders shooting off at the front when leading. Good calling, good communication. No flat ...

Re: Sunday Bunches - Do you like this possible option?

Middies is not meant for 33kms per hour. It should be about 31 or 32 max. Furthermore Middies riders can benefit by: 1. Front riders checking from time to time if everyone is on at the one or two toughest points. It is generally a 'drop' ride, but at the Loftus climb it doesn't hurt to look behind a...

Eastern Suburbs 5 Hills ride - Thursdays (non Club ride)

It starts at 6.15am at the Robertson Gate at Centennial Park. It arrives back at Waverly at around 7.30am for coffee/breakfast or work for those who must go. The...
