Thanks from me too. Lovely day out.
I've spent the evening trying to find the source of the annoying creak in my bike.

Thanks guys for a top day out.
That wind did have an up-side, making the afternoon unsuitable for pruning trees or cleaning gutters.

Lovely quiet ride along the river from Wisemans to Windsor. But no trains running, so rode on to Penrith.

Re: NSW Clubs Team Time Trial July 20th

Not sure why it came off, over many years it has been on the roof for thousands of km without incident. I think it was a combination of the strong winds, the wide rims, and carelessness on my part. It certainly was distressing see it in the rear view mirror, bouncing along the road. The components a...

Re: NSW Clubs Team Time Trial July 20th

Thanks all for the reports and pics. The ttt was as hard as anything I've done on the bike, mosty spent trying to hang onto Mike's or Mark's wheel. I knew that having lost one rider already, getting dropped wasn't an option. It was a bit disappointing to lose a couple of minutes to a mechanical, but...

Whale watching ticket Friday 19th

Margo and I have a spare ticket on a whale watching cruise Friday 19th, departing Circular Quay @ 10 am for 3 hrs. I went two weeks ago and saw a few whales. It cost $40, but happy to take any offer. Not cycling related I know, but the forecast for Friday is windy, so you might loose some weight. PM...

Re: West Head Road Race

Lovely morning for road racing at West Head. C grade was a bit different this month, with all the MWCC riders in one race and all other clubs in another, and the climb out of Akuna Bay was raced, nor neutral. For whatever reason I didn't have a good race and was just bunch filler today. Even though ...

Re: Ride Report Ken Dinnerville

Looking at the finishing photo, we are going to have to run a course for DHBC riders about how to be in the drops during a sprint.
There is a North Sydney rider going no-hands, at least the dhbc riders have their hands on the bars.
Top effort Noel. Looking forward to more reports.

Saturday: I raced in bunch ten, seven minutes behind limit and 18 in front of scratch, whi...
