Just to put my 2 cents worth in (I feel I can, having kept quit on the jerseys issue), I'd quite like to see the shirt with DHBC in the 4 circles across the chest. White on red. Just like on the jerseys, but without all the other stuff. Web on the back is good of course. But I take Chidgey's point o...

I had a look at the flights the other day. I suspect the trick is not to get the jetstar "lite", or what every they call the cheapest fare, but go for the one that's 10$ more. That allows for 20kg of checked luggage, while the "lite" fare allows for none.

Unless you want to go early and we could do a ride around Canberra somewhere that day. I've always wanted to do that. And you'd still have the return leg to Sydney to enjoy.

DHBC - Snowy Mts Chapter

On the off-chance anyone is heading Jindabyne way for Easter I'll be down at my farm from about April 8 for at least a week and would love to go riding with someone. Not that it isn't heavenly even solo. I'm planning rides to Thredbo and out Moonbah way along the Barry Way, plus anywhere else I can ...

Looks good to me! The only thing holding me back would be the fact I'll be going away the 2 weekends before as well.

Hi Geoff & Marion,

I'll be there for sure! Especially given how much thought Marion has already put into the menu. It'll give me good reason to look at my own Tassie photos too.

Amy! I had no idea! What a shock to log on just now and find you'd had a head on with a taxi. I was very relieved to read on and discover you were ok and are still able to go to Perth. What a shake up though. Here's the funny bit - I've just this morning been released from a 4-day stint in St Vinnie...

92km. Got it now. Still can't enter though because of the no-idea-what-my-licence-no is issue. Will ring people and have stern words tomorrow.

I just tried to enter but Cycling Australia still haven't sent me my new licence so I don't know what my number is!

What's the deal by the way? How many km etc? I have a faint recollection from talking to poeple who did it last year that it sounded really good.

That's hilarious Timyone!

I'm still really sick, and really sick of it. All the strength I got in Tassie has just gone straight out the window.

I blame Simon.

I'm in for sure. I did it last year and it was great. I believe they're finishing in the pits this year - something to do with the electronic tagging system - so am doubtful we'll have to climb Mt Panorama. The decent to the finish line would surely lead to disaster. A shame, because after 110km it ...

I think Johnno deserves half a point. His Red Cross skills were in full flight. If only Marion hadn't left the track 5 minutes earlier she could have made a significant dent in the board! Poor Mike. The crash was pretty spectacular - he just hit the deck as though being slapped very hard from above....

Sorry Glenno, I'm back on top. A flat at the omnium on Saturday - not the track bike, my commuter. I was blowing up the back tyre and the valve busted. Marion, keen to get on the board came to the rescue and Amy was not far behind. Figuring I had plenty of points to share I let them go at it, and qu...

After awaiting judication from Mike, I'm told I have to put my own 2 cents worth in. So here goes: I fully accept the deduction of 2 points from my initial interpreation of the rules (for not riding on the tyre between flats) but refute the further 0.5 reduction, due to yet another XX chromosome fav...

Well, I only got as far as getting the chain down to the little cogs and releasing the brakes, so I think Ron probably deserves the full half point.

Was that an oxymoron? I think so.

Don't forget I lose half a point for not having the second tube.

Don't talk to Amy about the hill. It shall never be mentioned again in her presence.
