Yes! Would be a good idea to take it too Slowies a couple of times to get used to riding on the road. Also gearing will be somewhat easier than you would use for the track.

You need to have working front & rear brakes. It's a long ride on the road - effective brakes are a legal and practical necessity.

Any one got the whole TdF recorded? My cunning plan to record the 4 hrs SBS broadcast each night failed due to a highly technical problem, so I wouldn't mind getting a copy.
